”Now it's enough”, it says in a press release that went out on Tuesday.
From and with today the campaign will be visible in social media and out on the roads, among other things through road signs in respective city.
At E4's entrance to Linköping it will be written: “You have driven wrong! If you were going to Lidköping", and vice versa in Lidköping.
A quiz about the attractions of the two cities will also be launched in connection with the campaign.
”Yes, it can be funny stories, but sometimes it has real consequences”, says Malin Johansson Fahlström, marketing communications officer at Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle, in a press release.
”A couple of years ago, even a company's advertising campaign ended up in the wrong city. Now we're making a joint effort with Linköping to help people get there and do the right thing and at the same time show off our respective places and tourist destinations”.
