Now we need the parties that have chosen Magdalena Andersson as our prime ministerial candidate to start saying yes to each other, says V's deputy party leader Ida Gabrielsson to TT.
Gabrielsson says that it is "obvious that the Left Party, which has advanced the most in this election," should have influence.
"My wish is that C, who obviously do not feel that they can get support for Magdalena Andersson and themselves in government in any other way than if we join in, accept that the four of us are in government together. You cannot demand to govern on someone else's mandate," says Gabrielsson.
The Centre Party's party secretary Hannes Hervieu says that C "is ready to negotiate with the Social Democrats", in response to the question of whether the party is ready to negotiate with V.
The Left Party has said that they will call new elections if they are not allowed to sit in government and we do not think that the Left Party should sit in government. It is better for us to negotiate with the Social Democrats and see what other solutions can be found, Hervieu tells TT.
On Monday evening, the parties will discuss the election results on Sveriges Television.
