Paulina Brandberg (The Liberals) is leaving her post as Minister for Gender Equality and Labour after more than two years due to family reasons. The Prime Minister highlights in a comment her work on men's violence against women.

"I want to thank Paulina Brandberg for her important contributions over the years, not least for her work on men's violence against women and honor-related violence and oppression", says Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) in a press release.

Even Johan Pehrson, Minister of Education and party colleague to Brandberg, praises her contributions for the government and Sweden.

"I want to extend a big thank you to her for her tireless work for freedom. With her background as a prosecutor combined with a clear liberal compass, she has driven through important reforms for increased equality and to counteract the honor-related violence and oppression", says Pehrson in the same press release.

The government writes that they will "in the near future" announce who will become the new Minister for Gender Equality and Labor.
