Asia's leading stock exchanges started Tuesday's trading in different directions in a situation where investors are evaluating President Donald Trump's harsh statements regarding the war between Israel and Iran.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 had increased by 0.5 percent after a few hours of trading, while the broader Topix index rose by 0.2 percent.
South Korea also chose joy and Kospi accordingly jumped up by 0.5 percent.
Hong Kong, on the other hand, did not let itself be tempted by the cheerful tones when Hang Seng fell by 0.3 percent.
The mood was slightly bitter also in Shanghai and Shenzhen, whose composite indexes fell by 0.2 and 0.1 percent, respectively.
