An Israeli fighter jet has attacked targets belonging to the Houthi movement in Yemen. The confirmation comes from a high-ranking source within Israel's military, hours after Houthi-loyal media reported attacks from both American and Israeli military.
"American-Israeli attacks targeted six attacks on the port of Hodeida" (on Yemen's west coast), reported the TV company al-Masirah.
Attacks were also said to have taken place in the region of Bajil, according to the Houthi movement backed by Iran.
The raids were carried out the day after the Houthi movement fired a missile towards Ben Gurion airport near Tel Aviv. The missile did not reach its intended target.
The attacks on Yemen and targets believed to belong to the Islamist extremist movement Houthi have intensified. The Houthi movement has, in turn, among other things, attacked shipping traffic in the Red Sea in solidarity with the terrorist-stamped Hamas.
