"Infrastructure belonging to the Iranian terror regime" is said to be the target of the new wave of attacks, the Israeli military announced around noon on Monday.

According to journalists on site, heavy explosions were heard in Tehran during the morning, even before the Israeli announcement.

Israel also stated this morning that it had hit, among other things, long-range missile launch sites and security headquarters in Isfahan in central Iran.

In northern and central Israel, Iranian attacks struck overnight and in the morning.

In Tel Aviv, about ten explosions were reported.

Israeli rescue services say one man has been killed, bringing the total number of Israelis killed to eleven. Iranian figures say around 1,200 civilians have been killed in the Israeli-American attacks on the country.

Children injured

Bahrain's health ministry says an Iranian drone strike targeting the island has injured 32 civilians, four of whom are said to be in serious condition. Children are also among the injured.

An oil facility in Bahrain has caught fire after an attack, and the national oil company Bapco is citing force majeure. However, no one has been injured in the attack.

Saudi Arabia's defense ministry says it has destroyed two drones heading towards an oil field, and the country is also stepping up its warnings against Iran, saying Iran would be the "biggest loser" if attacks on Saudi Arabia continue.

Explosions

Kuwait's Ministry of Defense states that the country's air defenses are working to stop a missile and drone attack.

Several explosions were heard in the Qatari capital Doha, according to AFP journalists. Doha has previously been the target of Iranian drones and missiles since Iran launched its retaliatory attacks on several countries in the region.

Qatar's Ministry of Defense says its forces have stopped a missile attack.
