IK Uppsala is the only elite club that has not been granted an elite license in the Swedish Football Association's partial decision for next season, UNT reports.
The club's negative equity is 1.9 million kronor. The licensing committee believes that the club has not presented a plan to reduce that amount to at least zero, which is a requirement to obtain an elite license.
By August 31, the equity must be restored, and the club has a plan to raise the million kronor needed.
Above all, the plan is to generate market revenue; we are in dialogue with several parties, says club manager Tomas Zillén.
IK Uppsala is currently in a negative qualifying position in the women's Swedish league.
