IFK Göteborg appealed, but the decision stands firm. The club is forced to pay a fine of 150,000 kronor after the spring's planning storm, writes GP.

We are very disappointed and extremely irritated. It is both unfair and directly incorrect that we receive these fines, says club manager Håkan Mild to the newspaper.

After a supporter stormed the pitch in the match between IFK Göteborg and Öster at Gamla Ullevi, the Swedish Football Association's disciplinary board decided that the club would be fined 150,000 kronor, as the board considered that they had failed in terms of safety.

"Blåvitt" appealed the decision to the Swedish Sports Confederation (Rin), but gets no response.

When you look at the entire sequence of events and look at how the guards and everyone who is part of that organization act, we come to the conclusion that no, this was not at the right level. Then IFK Göteborg bears the responsibility, says Rin's vice chairman Bo Bengtsson.
