"A more positive development in September than usual", writes Robert Boije, chief economist at SBAB in a comment in a press release.
"We are still sticking to our forecast of almost stagnant or slightly rising housing prices for the full year 2025. If we get a stronger price development than expected also in October, maybe we will have to think again. But that remains to be seen", he adds.
The index shows that the price increase for apartments was particularly noticeable in northern Sweden, up 3.1 percent.
The price development in Greater Stockholm was also positive, up 1.1 percent for both apartments and houses, according to SBAB Booli.
In Greater Gothenburg, it varied, up 1.0 percent for houses but down 1.2 percent for apartments. In Greater Malmö, it was the opposite, up 0.9 percent for apartments but down 2.1 percent for houses.
The price index is based on registered housing sales at Booli.
