What: Vasaloppet, the world's largest cross-country ski race, 90 km.

When: Today, starting at 8:00 a.m.

Where: Sälen to Mora.

Weather: SMHI has issued a yellow warning for snowfall.

Those who ski between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. will have snow continuously from the morning - and quite heavy snowfall, too, says TV4's meteorologist Martin Hagman.

TV and radio: SVT1/SVT Play: 07:30-21:00. P4 Radiosporten.

+ Number of participants

Over 14,200 participants have registered. There are approximately 15,800 starting places and registration is possible right up until the start, subject to availability.

+ Cheaters are hunted down

Technical controllers will be on the tracks to prevent skating during the race. Skiers who break the rule risk a verbal or written warning or, in the worst case, disqualification.

+ New rope rules - more finish line?

In Smågan, the so-called rep time is extended by 30 minutes, from 10:30 to 11:00. The purpose is to help participants who start in the back starting lines.

+ Can Myhlback and Nilsson repeat their success?

Last year, there was a Swedish double victory for the first time in 14 years. The then 18-year-old Alvar Myhlback became the youngest winner of all time and Stina Nilsson won the women's race. In 2011, Jörgen Brink and Jenny Jansson were the last to achieve a Swedish double victory before that. Could this be a new Swedish success?
