Ahead of the final race, the excitement is alive about who will take home the Formula 1 World Championship title. Three drivers have a chance to become world champion in Sunday's GP in Abu Dhabi.

What: The final round of the Formula 1 World Championship.

Where: Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The program: Qualifying will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday and the race will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

TV: Viaplay.

Exciting battle: For the first time since 2010, more than two drivers are in the fight for the World Championship title right up until the last race.

The standings: McLaren's Lando Norris leads the World Championship summary on 408 points, second is four-time world champion Max Verstappen, Red Bull, on 396 and third is Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri on 392 points.

This is how the points are awarded: The top ten in the race receive points according to the following distribution: 25–18–15–12–10–8–6–4–2–1.

How Norris wins the World Championship title: A podium finish secures the title for Norris, otherwise he needs to be ahead of his two challengers in the results list.

How Verstappen can win the World Championship title: The podium is what counts for the 28-year-old. If Verstappen wins the final race in Abu Dhabi, Lando Norris must finish no better than fourth for the Dutchman to become world champion for the fifth time. If he comes second, Norris must finish no better than eighth, and in the event of a third place finish, Verstappen must hope that Norris finishes ninth at best.

How Piastri can win the World Championship title: Piastri must either win or come second for the Australian to have any hope of winning the World Championship title. If he wins in Abu Dhabi, Norris must finish no better than fifth, and if he comes second, Norris must finish at best tenth and Verstappen fourth.
