The Green Party is investing a total of 15 billion kronor in its spring budget motion. This is 3.5 billion more than what the government allocated in its spring amending budget.
We see that we have very many challenges, not least that the Swedish economy is still going slow. The economic cycle is not turning, says Janine Alm Ericson.
The party is proposing an extra payment of child allowance, which would cost the state 2.6 billion kronor. According to the Green Party, this would mean an extra 2,500 kronor per month for a family with two children.
According to Janine Alm Ericson, this is a way to get the Swedish economy moving.
Families with children who struggle with their economy every month will use that money to shop immediately. It sets the wheels in motion in Sweden, she says.
In the budget motion, an additional one billion kronor is also being allocated to investments for the industry's transformation. This includes, for example, battery production and green steel.
Last autumn, the Green Party proposed, among other things, an electric car bonus of up to 60,000 kronor. Now the party wants to invest an additional 450 million kronor in a new national leasing support.
We are proposing a leasing support that will make it cheaper to lease an electric car than to keep your old gas-guzzler, says spokesperson Daniel Helldén.
In its spring budget proposal, the Green Party is also proposing that private jet flights be taxed with 20,000 kronor per flight.
The Green Party is financing its proposals, among other things, by saying no to the government's expanded ROT deduction, which costs 4.35 billion kronor.
