Four Swedes have been sentenced after another Swede was shot dead in Norway two years ago. The shooting is linked to the conflict between gang leaders Ismail Abdo and Rawa Majid, according to the prosecution.

The crime has been described as the first Swedish gang clash on Norwegian soil and the act is believed to have been ordered by Ismail Abdo. A 37-year-old Swedish man was shot multiple times outside a sports hall in Moss, in southeastern Norway, in November 2023. The man survived, seriously injured, and was treated for months in hospital.

Now the district court has sentenced four Swedish men between the ages of 22 and 49, reports VG . A 26-year-old is convicted of firing the shots. The other three are convicted of various types of involvement. One is said to have been the driver, another lured the man to the scene and a fourth is said to have ordered transportation. Three of them will receive eleven and a half years in prison and one of them will receive eleven years.
