The government has appointed former Liberal Party leader Johan Pehrson as ambassador to Portugal. He will take up his new position in August 2026.
Johan Pehrson was Minister of Education from 2024 to 2025 and Minister of Labor and Integration from 2022 to 2024. As party leader, he often profiled himself as “the guy at the grill”.
