At the turn of the year, the grant was increased from 10,000 to a maximum of 350,000 kronor per adult. Now two people from Syria and one person from the Ivory Coast have had their applications approved, reports Ekot.
Around 370 applications have been received so far. The most common country of origin among the applicants is Syria.
The grant is primarily intended for people who have been granted a residence permit on protection grounds. In addition, applicants must plan to move back permanently to their home country and have no debts.
Earlier this year, it was reported that of the 272 applications that had been received in January, 82 were rejected.
