Filip and Fredrik's "The Last Journey" received two Guldbaggar - but on the other hand, missed out on the finest prizes, for best film and direction.
So was the feeling afterwards joy over the two prizes - or disappointment over the prizes they didn't get?
It's good. I haven't seen the other films. Like many others, I haven't done it. So therefore I can't judge if we made a better film or not. So it's impossible for me to comment on, says Fredrik Wikingsson.
Left the After-Party
The documentary "The Last Journey" is about Filip Hammar's attempt to recreate his childhood summer vacations for his father, the retired teacher Lars, who has grown old and tired.
Lars Hammar was present in the auditorium during the award ceremony at Cirkus in Stockholm.
It's really something when you glance down at Lars, who's just sitting there and has dedicated his life to teaching. It's clear that he's one of the finest people I've met in my entire life, so it's wonderful.
After the gala, Filip Hammar took care of his dad and left the party when the after-party got underway.
It's a long gala, even if you're completely healthy. And if you're a bit older like he is, I think it can be like an "Ironman".
Embryo of a Film
Now the work begins on a new project. Fredrik Wikingsson describes that the duo has an "embryo" of a new film. More than that, he doesn't really want to say.
We have an idea we're brainstorming. We'll see, it's very loose at the edges right now.
Is it a feature film or a documentary?
It's some kind of feature film we're thinking of. It's very loose and it's not worth talking about yet. It would only be to jinx the idea, says Fredrik Wikingsson.
