Inflation in the eurozone remained at 2.2 per cent in April, the same as in March. This is shown by preliminary figures from Eurostat.
The zero result comes despite rising prices for food and services, however, compensated by cheaper energy prices.
The lowest euro-inflation currently has France at 0.8 per cent (compared to 0.9 in March) while Germany lands at 2.2 per cent (2.3 in March).
The highest inflation in the eurozone has Estonia at 4.4 per cent and the Netherlands at 4.1.
