+ Time for a yellow and blue miracle?
It became painfully clear for the Netherlands that they were too small against England when they lost 0–4 to the reigning champions. But hope for advancement still lives.
Prior to the last round, they have three points – the same as England – and three points behind France. The Netherlands will advance if they take more points than England in the last round, or beat France by three goals or more.
+ Smash situation for France
If France takes points, they will advance as group winners. However, if they lose by more than three goals at the same time as England beats Wales, the European Championship will be suddenly over for the French. After 2–1 against England and 4–1 against Wales, it is not much that suggests such a defeat for "Les Bleues".

+ England with the matter in their own hands
After the big win against the Netherlands (4–0), England has a good situation before the conclusion. A win against Wales means that a quarterfinal is secured. Then it only remains to be seen whether it will be a first or second place in the group. If England wins at the same time as France loses, "The Lionesses" will pass the French in the table.
+ Wales eliminated – with dignity intact
That Wales would be a punching bag in the death group did not come as a surprise. With two losses, seven conceded and only one goal forward, Wales is eliminated already before the last round. Wales' coach Rhian Wilkinson is, however, anything but dissatisfied after the loss to France.
I would rather lose 1–4 and show courage than 0–1 and not show anything for our supporters. I have never been prouder, she said to BBC.
