The reason is, among other things, that Törnblom has called Magdalena Andersson (S) his "favorite prime minister".
Now Edvin Törnblom has responded to the criticism on TV4:
"I've been open with my opinions since I became famous. So I'll see what I vote for in September, but the most important thing is that you go and vote," he tells TV4.
He also says that he has previously voted red.
"I have voted red in previous elections and I have been open about it all these years."
Ebba Busch (KD), Ulf Kristersson (M) and Jimmie Åkesson (SD) have all turned down Törnblom. SD stated that they lack “confidence in DN Kultur’s ability to conduct an impartial and fair interview.”
