The prosecutors in the case of Matthew Perry's death in October 2023 have reached an agreement with the doctor Salvador Plascenia, who in court will admit to having sold ketamine to the actor, reports BBC.

Plascenia admits to having sold 20 syringes with the narcotic substance and injected Matthew Perry at his home and in a parking lot. The doctor also trained Perry's assistant so that he could give the star the injections.

The doctor is one of five people who are charged in the case. Another doctor, Mark Chavez, has previously admitted to having sold drugs to Matthew Perry. Matthew Perry's assistant Kenneth Iwamasa is also among those charged.

The main hearing in the trial begins in August. Matthew Perry was found dead in his home on October 28, 2023, 54 years old.
