Peabo Bryson was described as one of the leading voices in R&B for decades, but is perhaps best known for his duet with Céline Dion on the theme song for “Beauty and the Beast” in the early 1990s. The duet won an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Grammy.
Peabo Bryson also sang "A Whole New World" in Disney's "Aladdin".
Other Bryson hits include "Tonight I Celebrate My Love" and "If Ever You're in My Arms Again".
The singer died at the age of 75, surrounded by his family, after complications from a stroke.
