Denmark's upset victory over Canada has triggered hockey fever on the other side of Öresund.

It's noticeable in Stockholm ahead of the semifinal between Switzerland and Denmark.

There were a couple of thousand unsold tickets to the semifinal on Thursday before it was clear which teams would meet.

Some of them were intentional, we're holding on to them because we didn't know which teams would come. Then we're holding on to a certain number to release to fans, player families, and so on. But they're sold out now, says Wiréhn.

The stands behind the goals have been reserved for the teams' supporters, and when they became available, they sold out immediately.

It's about 500-600 tickets involved in the supporter sections, says Wiréhn.

Those who want to see the semifinal between Switzerland and Denmark don't have to give up hope entirely yet.

We sometimes get tickets back before a game and then we release them, says Wiréhn.

By Friday afternoon, all tickets to the remaining matches were sold out, Saturday's two semifinals and Sunday's two medal matches.
