The rubble from the fatal accident suddenly appeared in a parking lot under the E18 near the Natural History Museum. The route is marked with the station "Technical University" and the departure board shows that buses have left for Rimbo from the stop.
Remnants of blood are visible on the broken windows.
The Stockholm City Traffic Office, which is responsible for cleaning streets and squares, moved the bus shelter overnight after the police had finished at the scene. The idea was to move the bus shelter to a fenced parking area, says Malinda Flodman, press officer at the traffic office.
"We were not prepared for this. There was no room for the bus shelter inside the fenced area, so the bus shelter was placed just outside," she tells TT.
So it's not dumped. It's not meant to be there, of course. The people working on this are on their way there now.
The police, who are investigating the accident, are surprised by the information.
"Those I have spoken to are shaking their heads. We lack knowledge," police spokesperson Ola Österling toldExpressen .
Three people died and several were injured when a double-decker bus crashed into the bus shelter on Friday.
