"Her artistry is characterized by the exploration of the power and rhythm of nature, which she integrates into architectural structures, where organic and artificial, inside and outside, and time and space meet," reads part of the statement from Princess Estelle's Cultural Foundation.
Iglesias has now been commissioned to create the seventh permanent work in the park. The site-specific 5.5-meter-tall sculpture will be inaugurated on June 2.
Iglesias's works are represented at the Tate Modern in London, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, among others.
