Four young men linked to the Nazi Aktivklubb Sverige were convicted of assaulting several men of foreign background during a night in Stockholm. They are now appealing to the Court of Appeal and seeking to be acquitted.

The men, all in their 20s, were convicted of aggravated assault and battery. The sentence was between three years and three years and six months in prison.

The events took place during a night out on August 27 of this year, when the men allegedly attacked three men with a foreign background in central Stockholm.

In the first incident, the district court did not consider it proven who was responsible for the violence and the men were acquitted of that assault, however, one of them was convicted of aggravated theft for taking the plaintiff's cap and headphones.

The men, who have largely denied any wrongdoing, want to be acquitted and, in the alternative, receive a lower sentence. One of them admits to assault of the normal degree in one case. At the same time, they deny that there is a hate crime motive, which the district court considered.

The prosecutor is also appealing and wants the men to also be convicted of robbery and unlawful threats, and for longer sentences to be imposed.

The three plaintiffs are also appealing and are demanding, among other things, that the Court of Appeal sentence the men entirely according to what is alleged in the indictment.
