So far, more than 100 people have applied for crime injury compensation from the Crime Victim Authority after the school attack in Örebro in February, according to Sveriges Radio Ekot.
These are people who were in the building who have applied for compensation for pain and suffering, as well as for violation of personal integrity, says Ingela Ackemo at the Crime Victim Authority to Ekot.
More applications are expected in the near future. According to the police, there are around 500 people who are to be considered as crime victims.
The school attack in Örebro, where ten people were murdered and six were injured, is one of the largest events the Crime Victim Authority has handled.
