Centre Party wants to introduce Danish model for student jobs

Unemployment has increased among academics, and it may take time for new graduates to find jobs.

C believes that the government is facing the problem head-on and is proposing a new form of employment that has proven successful in Denmark - student employees.

The idea is that students should be able to work in parallel with their studies in qualified jobs relevant to their education to gain experience and contacts in the labor market. Pay should correspond to the collective agreement, and it should be a special, time-limited form of employment under the Employment Protection Act (LAS).
