The Centre Party's voter support increases by 1.2 percentage points in SVT/Verian's latest measurement. It is an Anna-Karin Hatt effect, says Per Söderpalm, opinion manager at Verian, to SVT.

The Centre Party has recently been below the Riksdag's four-percent threshold, but now gets 4.8 percent.

The measurement, based on 3 interviews, was conducted between 21 April and 4 May. Hatt was elected as the new Centre Party leader on 5 May, but it was clear already beforehand that she would be elected.

The Centre Party has won voters from The Moderate Party, which loses 2.2 percentage points in the poll and ends up at 18.1 percent.

Söderpalm states that Hatt is a fairly classic bourgeois politician.

It is clear that her and the Centre Party's profile can be interesting for some bourgeois voters within The Moderate Party, says Söderpalm to SVT.

The difference between the red-green opposition and the Tidö parties has now grown to 9.6 percent in favour of the red-greens.
