Leo Carlsson's success continues. The NHL star has scored for the seventh game in a row. The Swede now has a scoring average that would mean he finishes with 113 points.

In tonight's NHL ice hockey, Leo Carlsson had a goal and an assist as his Anaheim defeated St. Louis 4–1 on away ice.

In the last seven games, the Swede has accounted for ten points and it is the second time this season that Carlsson has had a points streak of seven straight games.

Carlsson is now tied for fourth place in the overall points standings with 36 points (14 goals and 22 assists) after 26 games.

That's a points average per game that would mean Carlsson would finish with 113 points, which means it's within reasonable reach that he could become the second best Swede of all time in the NHL.

Kent Nilsson – with 131 points in the 1980–1981 season – is in a class of his own. Second and third on the list are Peter Forsberg (116 points, 1995–1996) and Mats Sundin (114 points, 1992–1993), players that Leo Carlsson will reach if he increases his scoring average a little in the future.
