"Johan Pehrson and I have worked closely together, first in opposition and through an election campaign to change the government and get Sweden in order - and now in recent years as colleagues in the government", writes Kristersson in a comment.

"Big thanks for this time, Johan, and warm good luck with what's coming next", he concludes.

In a post on X, KD leader Ebba Busch thanks her colleague Johan Pehrson for good and fine cooperation.

"We have changed course for Sweden, implemented absolutely necessary reforms to tackle Sweden's problems. Thanks for all the laughs and great warmth", she writes.

SD leader Jimmie Åkesson writes in a post on Facebook that he will miss Pehrson.

"I have the greatest respect for people who stand by their opinion and at the same time are adult enough to talk to people who have a completely different opinion", he writes.

The Left Party leader Nooshi Dadgostar comments that she has always enjoyed debating and chatting with the outgoing L leader.

"A spontaneous and fun person who doesn't just stick to talking points. Wishing you all the best!"

Himself, Pehrson writes that he thanks for all the happy cheers - and the opposite throughout the year.

"After almost thirty years of democratic duty, it's time for something else. Go Sweden. Vote for The Liberals", he concludes.
