Björk is exhibiting alongside artist James Merry as part of the Reykjavik Art Festival, which begins on May 30 next year. In a post on Instagram , the museum says the duo will be taking over all the halls.
Björk's piece is called "Echolalia" and consists of three installations intended to give the audience "a rare opportunity to engage intimately with works of phenomenal visual, auditory and emotional depth."
One of the installations is based on new music from her upcoming album. The other two are inspired by songs from her previous album, "Fossora" (2022), and have been created as a tribute to Björk's mother Hildur Rúna Hauksdóttir, who died in 2018.
