Kristersson shared an open letter to Andersson on Instagram earlier on Wednesday evening, in which he writes that she needs to "speak clearly about the volume discount" and, among other things, asks why she doesn't want to "stand up for all the women who have been subjected to violence and rape and who are forced to meet their perpetrators on the street shortly afterwards."
"I want to abolish the volume discount for sexual crimes and serious violent crimes as quickly as possible," says Andersson, who will debate with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson in Gävle on Wednesday.

Voted no
The background is the parliamentary vote in August to abolish the penalty discount for those convicted of multiple crimes, where the red-greens voted no to the government's proposal to abolish all quantity discounts.
Kristersson says he believes it's all about S wanting to "avoid talking about factual issues."
"So we proposed removing the volume discount and they voted emphatically no. I have photographic evidence of that. And now they are upset that we point out that they voted no and that we stand by that policy," he says.
The photographic evidence Kristersson refers to is the photo he shared on social media, taken from inside the chamber, of Andersson when she pressed the "no" button.
“Castle in the air”
According to Andersson, the government's proposal is a "castle in the air" without funding or any plan for when it will come into effect.
It doesn't help a single victim, says Andersson.
She claims that S, faster than the Tidö parties, can remove the quantity discount for sexual crimes and serious violent crimes and that it could happen as early as 2027.
Kristersson dismisses the criticism and says that S cares "about the perpetrators, not the victims."
They seem ashamed of their own decision, he says.
