The SD leader thinks it is reasonable that Swedes should be able to buy a pilsner or a bottle of wine even on Sundays.
"When we have a monopoly, which I fundamentally think is very good, you have to maintain some kind of legitimacy in that system. Then it's good if you also meet demand in a different way," he says.
Recently, the Liberals presented several proposals in the alcohol sector, including that Systembolaget should be allowed to be open until 8 p.m. every day. The Moderates also have proposals for Sunday opening.
However, Health Minister Elisabeth Lann (KD) is critical and has previously said that the issue is not on the table.
