Iran resumes air traffic at its airports, reports state media after a two-day flight stoppage that was introduced following the country's drone attack on Israel on Tuesday.
Both domestic and international flights were suspended for security reasons.
The resumption of traffic is confirmed by the country's civil aviation organization.
After ensuring favorable and safe flight conditions and the lifting of restrictions, airlines are allowed to operate flights, says a spokesperson according to the state-controlled news agency Irna.
The EU's aviation authority Easa has recommended European airlines to avoid Iranian airspace until October 31, and announces that it is monitoring the situation.
Similar warnings have been issued for Israel and Lebanon.
