The guided via ferrata tour is listed through Sunday 8 November, so it is still running this week. Visitors descend into old mines dating to the early 17th century, wearing a harness, headlamp and helmet. No previous climbing experience is required; guides lead the group through the route.

The tour begins at the old mining museum with a safety briefing and equipment test. The route passes the sulfur shaft, Södra Silverbergsgruvan and the deep mine before returning to the surface. Allow about three hours in total. Participants must weigh between 40 and 120 kg and be at least 140 cm tall. The recommended minimum age is 12; anyone under 16 must climb with one accompanying adult. The organiser advises against climbing with certain medical conditions or during pregnancy, and welcomes questions from anyone unsure. Groups of at least eight can ask about booking a private tour.
