At Gimo’s library, this gathering brings together music, company and readings from this year’s book, “De kommer att drunkna i sina mödrars tårar” by Swedish author Johannes Anyuru. The event is part of Kura skymning during Nordic Culture Week, which is marked every year across the Nordic region and the Baltic states.
The programme combines music with a reading aloud. It is organised by Föreningen Norden, Östhammars Litteraturförening, students and teachers from Kulturskolan, and Östhammars municipality. Admission is free, and no advance registration is required. With music and a shared reading at its centre, the event offers visitors a chance to join a community gathering at the library.
