Strandvägen 1

Strandvägen 1 is an international brasserie and bar at Strandvägen 1 in Östermalm, beside the Royal Dramatic Theatre and overlooking the docks at Nybrokajen. Its seasonal menu brings together Swedish classics, seafood and flavours from other parts of the world. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, and its bar offers cocktails and a wine list with bottles from wine regions around the world.

On Saturdays and Sundays, the à la carte brunch runs from 12:00 to 16:00. Dishes include Eggs Benedict, omelettes and American pancakes, as well as seafood, steak tartare and Steak Minute. DJs are often part of the brunch. On Sundays, the kitchen serves a changing Sunday roast from 17:00. It is made in limited quantities and served until it sells out.

Music is part of the venue’s evenings, with DJ sets several nights a week. The restaurant says its summer terrace opens beside Nybroviken. It also hosts private events, including dinners, birthdays and after-work gatherings, for smaller groups and larger parties. The venue says it is open seven days a week, from early lunch into the evening.
