This self-guided audio walking tour follows places in Stockholm connected to Hjalmar Söderberg’s novel Doctor Glas. It begins at the building where Söderberg imagined that Doctor Glas lived, then goes through Old Town and Kungsträdgården.

Your smartphone and Story Tourist’s app guide the walk. At locations where events in the novel take place, you listen to Doctor Glas’ story through the app. It also presents old photos and animated sequences. The experience combines walking between the story’s locations with listening to the narrative and viewing images on your phone. The route is organised around places connected to the novel, rather than a single indoor venue.

The tour is in Swedish. The app is your guide as you move through the route, and the story is heard at the locations where it takes place. The start is the building where Söderberg imagined Doctor Glas lived; from there, the walk continues through Old Town and Kungsträdgården. Bring a smartphone to use Story Tourist’s app, which provides the audio and visual material during the walk.
