Loopen is a boat club and bar at Hornstulls strand 6, at the foot of Liljeholm Bridge. Visit Stockholm describes a West Indies feel. Visitors can sit in lounge chairs beneath artificial palms and watch boats dock. The restaurant serves light snacks and hearty meals, with plenty of fish and shellfish alongside American-style meat dishes, according to Visit Stockholm.

Loopen’s website says, “Thank you for this year. See you again in April,” so it is closed now and plans to reopen in April. The site does not give a reopening date. When Loopen is operating, its website says there is no need to book a table because there is always space. It does not say how long a visit takes.

The website also advertises a guest harbour for 300 SEK (about US$30, or £24) per night. The charge includes access to electricity, a toilet, a shower and a gate code for passing between the harbour and town. The website gives no restaurant prices or opening hours.
