La Barra

La Barra at Norrlandsgatan 7 is closed. Its website thanks its guests and says Side Pour is the successor in the premises. La Barra is therefore not open for dinner or drinks this week.

Before closing, La Barra described itself as a Spanish restaurant built around a large central bar, where guests could eat tapas, drink and talk. Visit Stockholm also described its Spanish tapas and the atmosphere around the bar. La Barra’s own account said the idea came from its owners’ fondness for the sounds, smells and flavours of Spanish tapas bars, and for the sight of staff moving through a busy room.

The restaurant said it had about 100 seats, with just under half available to book. Guests without a reservation were encouraged to try the bar. La Barra also advertised DJs on Fridays and Saturdays from 21:00, with dimmed lights and louder music. These details describe the former restaurant, not current service. The site does not provide current opening hours or prices for La Barra.
