Bar Brahe is a jazz and cocktail bar at Bredgränd 2. Visit Stockholm lists it as Hotel Reisen’s backdoor hang-out and says it has a separate entrance. The venue places itself in an old shipment warehouse. Its account says merchants once collected bricks and coffee there for export, and that the docks outside Gamla Stan were used by smugglers and ladies of the night. It says the warehouse’s legacy remains inside.

The bar’s website says its music follows the room and its vibe. It lists guest musicians playing live jazz on Thursday evenings from 19:30, and the Brahe House Band on Fridays from 19:30. Visit Stockholm also describes drinks and live music as part of the offer. The venue says it is closed for summer from 9 May until the fall season.

Next to the bar, Stern is a separate space available for group reservations for up to 40 people, with seating for 27. The venue offers the option of a private bar and cocktail tastings with snacks there. Groups can play music through a 3.5 mm aux cable.
