Häståkeriet is a riding school and course centre on Royal Djurgården, at Gärdet. It offers guided rides on Djurgården for riders of all levels. In summer, experienced riders can book dawn rides through Stockholm’s streets. Visit Stockholm says these rides are followed by breakfast, and also lists twilight and midnight rides.

The riding school uses small groups and adapts lessons to each rider. Lessons combine theory with riding, and cover communicating with horses both from the ground and in the saddle. The venue says the horses’ wellbeing is central. It also runs horse-based courses and workshops focused on wellbeing and presence. Its course centre incorporates horses into activities and therapeutic methods related to mental health.

For children, the venue lists summer horse camp for ages 7 to 12 and riding camps. It also offers private lessons for beginners and for riders who want to develop their skills. Visit Stockholm says bookings, including group bookings, are made on Häståkeriet’s website.
