Teater Bristol’s family theatre production is performed in Swedish and recommended for children aged three and older. Based on Jujja Wieslander’s book, the story begins on the day before Christmas Eve. Mamma Moo wants to surprise the farmer with an unusual present, while Crow rushes home to arrange gifts for himself, worried he may otherwise get none. Mamma Moo’s plan is to jump until the milk in her udder becomes whipped cream. The story follows the pair through questions of friendship, expectations and what matters most at Christmas. Performances are scheduled from later this month through the end of December, and each lasts about 35 minutes.

Piano, voice and words form a stage experience in which jazz carries, comments on and sometimes challenges the poetry. The performance is in Swedish.
