Brasserie Astoria is a restaurant on Nybrogatan in central Stockholm, in a former cinema called Astoria. Visit Sweden describes it as Michelin chef Björn Frantzén’s newer restaurant and says the experience is more laid-back than the three-star Frantzén. The menu draws on classic French and Italian pub dishes, including carbonara, Caesar salad and moules frites. The restaurant has a large and a small dining room, a bar with a classic cocktail menu and DJs, and a wine bar.
The menu includes à la carte dishes and a Plat du Jour. Weekend brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 to 15:00. The venue’s website calls it an “international power brasserie” from the Frantzén Group and lists Stockholm, Singapore and Marbella among its locations. The layout combines dining rooms with separate bars for cocktails and wine. Astoria gives diners a choice between French- and Italian-influenced dishes, brunch and drinks in central Stockholm.
