Bobergs Matsal is in Stockholm’s NK department store, at Hamngatan 18. Architect Ferdinand Boberg designed the dining room, which was completed in 1915. The restaurant says the room is protected for its cultural history and has remained almost unchanged since it opened. Visit Stockholm describes its interior as an early-20th-century dining room.

Chefs Tommy Myllymäki and Pi Le present a modern interpretation of traditional French-Nordic cooking. At lunch, diners can choose from the à la carte menu or a four-course set menu. The restaurant’s website says dinner sittings begin on Wednesday, 4 November, and that it will open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday. Dinner reservations can be made through the website’s “Reserve” link.

A Christmas menu begins on 1 December and must be booked separately. Bobergs also arranges private events and offers a private dining room for groups of up to 20. The restaurant asks groups of eight to 20 to contact it by email. The website describes the food and event options, but does not give menu prices or meal times.
