Bio Fågel Blå’s November programme starts today, Monday, 2 November, with Vargtimmen at 19:45. The film is in Swedish with English subtitles and runs for 1 hour 28 minutes. On Tuesday, Barry Lyndon screens at 19:45 in English, without subtitles; it runs for 3 hours 5 minutes. Friday’s 18:00 screening is the premiere of Jävla karlar, in Swedish with Swedish subtitles.

The programme continues with breakfast screenings on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Amélie from Montmartre is on Saturday, 7 November, at 10:30, in French with Swedish subtitles. The Darjeeling Limited follows on Sunday, 8 November, at 10:30, in English without subtitles. Later in the month, the Monday Bergman series includes Nattvardsgästerna on 16 November and Jungfrukällan on 30 November, both in Swedish with English subtitles. The listed film runtimes range from 1 hour 21 minutes to 3 hours 5 minutes, so the time needed depends on the screening.

The cinema first opened in 1926. Visit Stockholm says it reopened in autumn 2023 with a renovated auditorium, a bar and a bistro. Ingmar Bergman grew up in the same block and regularly went to the cinema as a child and an adult, according to Visit Stockholm. Its Monday Bergman screenings continue that connection, with English subtitles listed for the two November films.
