Relatives of someone with a cognitive illness or dementia can meet in a small peer group in Norrtälje to talk, listen to one another and offer support. The meetings are part of Leva nära, a discussion circle developed by Kommunförbundet Skåne. It gives participants a chance to share experiences and find support while focusing on their health and quality of life.

The series has seven meetings, each lasting about two hours, with up to eight participants. It is already under way and continues into December. Participation is free, booking is required and coffee is provided. The group meets at the former tourist office on Lilla Brogatan. The entrance is at the end of the building by the parking area. Toilets and simple refreshments are available.
