MediYoga for beginners is an introductory course for people with little or no yoga experience, as well as those who want a refresher. No prior knowledge is needed. Participants can practise seated in a chair or on a mat, with bolsters available at the venue. The instructor explains the exercises during each session and leaves time for questions and reflection; everyone works according to their abilities on the day. Exercises are done sitting or lying down. The nine-session autumn course is already under way and meets on Mondays through its final session later this month. Mats and bolsters are provided, and participants are asked to bring a blanket. Drop-in places are available if there is room.
