Artipelag is showing INNER CHILD, Playing with Design through 11 April 2027. The exhibition explores the inner child as a source of creativity, hope and the joy of making, asking what we might see through a child’s curious eyes. Created exclusively for Artipelag by trend analyst Lidewij Edelkoort and curator Philip Fimmano, it brings together work by 100 designers and artists in a narrative about play, imagination and making things by hand. Visitors can explore the exhibition on their own. Artipelag also offers introductions to its themes in Swedish and English from Tuesday to Sunday. The introductions are included in the admission ticket.

Carve an object with character
to 20:30 · Artipelag
As part of the exhibition INNER CHILD – Playing with Design, Artipelag invites you to a woodcarving workshop with cabinetmaker and woodcarver Moa Brännström Ott. Discover the basics of whittling and transform a piece of wood into something of your own – perhaps a spoon, a butter knife or something entirely different. Inspired by INNER CHILD, the workshop is as much about daring to experiment, play and follow your curiosity as it is about craftsmanship. No previous experience is required.
