Hedenstedts taktegelmuseum is a very small museum beside the tile warehouse in Trosa. It is for visitors interested in roof tiles and how they are made and assessed. The museum roof is covered with three types of tiles to show differences in appearance.

The displays explain how a tiled roof is built and how to judge the quality of old roof tiles. They also show how to distinguish tiles made by extrusion, pressed in moulds and by hand. The museum calls its collection of stamped, hand-made roof tiles its pride.

At a trial-laying roof, children and adults can learn to lay 18th-century tiles. A downloadable brochure covers tile history, manufacturing methods and practical advice.

The page mentions other sights around Trosa, including the riverside walk and wooden houses from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. It also recommends architectural sites and gardens in Ytterjärna. A café near Trosa is described as open in summer.
